Business Relationship Manager (BRM)
The BRM has overall responsibility for the management of all aspects of the relationship that Containerchain maintains with its customers, all stakeholders in the container logistics landside supply chain however currently mainly empty container depots. The main goal of this position is to ensure that our customers, who are key to the success of Containerchain, have a primary point of contact who has the skills and authority level to manage their needs.
To be successful in this role you will ensure that the relationship with allocated customers is maintained and improved. This will involve a regular contact plan, the development of a full understanding of each customer’s operations, and earning ‘trusted advisor’ status from each individual customer.
You will manage the operations of the customer into the ‘best in class’ condition defined by Containerchain. This means that the BRM must have a formal plan in place for each allocated customer to achieve ‘best in class’ status, and timeframes on each activity that is required to do that, in addition to maximising revenue from each allocated customer.
You should be able to make suggestions about potential software, or other, improvements that could be made to the Containerchain environment in order to improve the experience of customers who use our system.
The successful candidate will have experience in the container logistics landside supply chain in Europe, preferably in Germany, Benelux and France, and specifically at empty container depots, container terminals or container transport companies. The candidate speaks English fluently and preferably also French.
